Mind Overload

What happens to a computer when you try to do too many things at the same time; it crashes, it slows down and you can even cause serious problems if you habitually do it.

This is no different to our mind. When we overthink, we overload our brains and over time, this causes us to be unprogressive, confused, negative, indecisive and unsure.

The definition of Overload is "Demand on an equipment or system that exceeds its capacity. Overload usually results in breakdown of the equipment or collapse of the system, sometimes beyond the possibility of repair" (Business dictionary)

Sometimes we demand too much on ourselves. Life is complicated, yes... but it should be simple to live. When we trust God and allow Him to take on our burdens and do the thinking for us, we are able to be clear minded, steady and free.

Have you ever had someone ask you to help them with a problem but instead of leaving it to you, they are constantly trying to find ways to figure it out themselves. I personally find that annoying because it shows a lack of trust and respect that you are able to solve the problem that they gave you to solve. So we shouldnt act like this with God, when we pray and ask Him to help and deliver us, we should trust in Him and not try tofind ways to figure it out anyway, because we will not very go far.

Overthinking is by far one of the most dangerous things that harm our spiritual lives.

Nothing cancels faith like anxiety and worry. When we overthink, we are simply saying we do not trust God to come through for us “and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭

We humans like to be in control so it is difficult to let go and let God. But we have to keep learning to step back in line anytime we step out of faith.
